Arnold Makes A Difference

Arnold Makes A Difference

Arnold climbed the corporate ladder but could only climb so high, frustration dogging him on every rung.  He was driven to succeed–to produce, to be someone, to leave a legacy.  But how could one person make a difference?  Power was distant for regular fellows.  How could Arnold make a difference?

Become an influencer?  Influencers had millions of followers but what did those followers follow?  In reality, influencers influenced little.  Run for office?  Politicians were elected through compromise, which changed little in the long run.  He could try using AI to create a stunning new way to make a difference–but AI had created nothing ‘new’ yet.

Friends and family told Arnold he did make a difference–by working hard, supporting his family, being a loving husband and father.  Most folks figured that was enough–not Arnold.  Told he had made a difference, he wrote a book, How To Make A Difference.

It was published and became a wild best seller.

He wrote a sequel questioning whether the first book made a difference.  The majority of  readers told a survey it did—they entered intense therapy for anxiety.  Arnold accepted the results as satisfactory.
